Settings
These print on every quote, invoice and receipt.
Added under your replies to enquiries. Leave it blank to sign off with "Thanks," and your business name.
Country
Sets your currency, what the sales tax is called and its usual rate, the tax-ID label, and your tax-year dates. Change any of them below.

VAT
Used to turn tracked time into a job's wage cost.
Used to turn a day rate into an hourly cost.
Pre-fills the amount when you take a deposit on a quote.
Added to a supplier's cost price when a material goes onto a quote. Set 0 to sell materials at cost. The customer sees only the marked-up price; you see the breakdown while building.
Override the default for a single supplier. Blank rows use the default.
Booking a job says something when the wages and materials leave less than this in profit. Set 0 to be warned only when a job actually loses money.

Document defaults
Numbering and the defaults every new quote, invoice and receipt starts with, one type at a time. To change one document, open it and choose Edit document.
How numbering works
Each document type has a prefix (like EST) and a starting number. If you don't want your quotes and invoices to look brand new, set the starting number to carry on from wherever you're already up to, for each type. New documents count up from there automatically.
Receipts use your document style and the details below.
Trust-builders you can print on your quotes and invoices. Turn one on and enter it.
Payment methods
How your customers can pay. Each one you add and switch on prints as its own block on your invoices. Bank transfer fields match your country automatically.
Personalise the assistant
Things it keeps in mind on every reply. Edit or remove any that are wrong, or add your own.
A full copy of your clients, quotes, invoices, jobs and revenue, saved to a file you keep.
Ask for a fingerprint, a face or a PIN before the app will open. Your data stays on the phone either way; this stops someone else reading it if they pick the phone up.
If something did not work, the app writes down why here. This log stays on your device: it is handy to look at yourself, or to copy and send over if you report a problem. Crash reports are separate and go to us, unless you turn them off below.
Off by default. When on, this device counts how often each screen is opened and whether setup was finished, so you can see what the app notices. Only the names below, a count and a date are kept: no customer, amount, address or document text. Nothing is sent anywhere. Switching it off deletes the counts.
Dates
How every date in the app is written, documents included.
Items per page
How many rows every list shows before you tap Next or Load more.
Set each list separately
These all land in one place: the band at the top of your home screen, with the button that deals with them attached.
Counted from the day you sent it, with no reply since.
Counted backwards from the quote's expiry date, so you can re-send or extend it in time.
Then it comes back if it is still unpaid. Set 0 and it asks every time.
Your phone can tell you what is coming up, even when the app is closed. These are worked out on the phone itself, so they arrive with no signal.
Your phone is blocking notifications for QuoteMaster. Turn them on in Android Settings, Apps, QuoteMaster, Notifications.
Nothing is scheduled between these. A reminder that would land inside them is dropped rather than held back.
What the bell's inbox records, and whether a pop-up comes with it. Server alerts (a job assigned to you, a sync conflict, a subscription ending) are listed so you can choose now, but are not sent until the sync service supports them. Quiet hours above apply to desktop alerts.
An email to the customer before a booked visit. Email reminders are sent by the sync service, which does not accept them yet, so nothing goes out for now. Your choices here are kept for when it does. A job can override this, and a customer can be left out.
What counts as a free day when the assistant tells a customer when you could start.
A day outside this list is never offered as available, even when nothing is booked on it.
Added when the assistant tells a customer when you could start. Leave both blank and it just names the day.
